GLENS HIT BACK TO CLAIM THE POINTS
Glentoran came back from a goal down at the break to defeat Dungannon Swifts at Stangmore Park.
Dungannon started brightly, with Leo Alves firing wide from a Matthew Lusty ball forward before the roles were reversed but Patrick McClean was on hand to block the danger.
Another opening was Caolan Marron flick the ball towards goal only to be turned behind for a corner by Jonathan Russell, with Ben Gallagher then seeing an effort that looked destined for the top corner being tipped to safety by Aaron McCarey.
And the Swifts finally found a way through in first half stoppage time when Gallagher converted from the spot - despite McCarey getting a hand to the ball - after Lusty had been bundled over by Russell.
Gallagher might have doubled the home advantage early in the second half only to head over from an Ethan McGee cross.
However Glentoran levelled from the spot on the hour through Marcus Kane who flicked the ball over keeper Declan Dunne after a Russell throw in wasn't properly defended.
It got worse for the Swifts a few minutes after that when they were reduced to ten men following Marron's dismissal for a late challenge on Bobby Burns.
The visitors came close to moving in front as the game moved into the closing stages after Niall McGinn rattled the crossbar from 25 yards before, with six minutes to go, substitute Junior Uzokwe hit what proved to be the winner by turning home a low Burns cross.
