REDS ROMP TO LAKEVIEW VICTORY
Cliftonville proved to be the big winners of the day in the Sports Direct Premiership with a convincing away win against Loughgall at Lakeview Park.
The Reds took the lead on 21 minutes through fortuitous circumstances, Loughgall goalkeeper Turker failed to clear a Gallagher cross and the resulting punch fell to the unmarked Ronan Hale who stabbed the ball home from close range.
Ronan Hale doubled his and Cliftonville's tally for the afternoon eleven minutes later, as he latched onto Jonny Addis' precise long ball and proceeded to take deft touch to take the ball away from the onrushing goalkeeper, and then place the ball into the empty net from a tight angle.
Cliftonville continued into the second half with a similar purpose to their play of the first period, as on 65 minutes Rory Hale teed up Chris Gallagher and the midfielder drilled a low drive from 25-yards into the bottom corner for 3-0.
Loughgall did pull a goal back on 73 minutes as Nathaniel Ferris capitalised on a short backpass from Ronan Doherty and his shot squirmed under Odumosu and over the line.
The visitors restored their three goal advantage in stoppage time as substitutes Joe Gormley and Chris Curran combined to allow the latter to fire under Turker from close range to make it 4-1 to Jim Magilton's men.
