BANNSIDERS REDISCOVER WINNING TOUCH
Coleraine returned to winning ways with victory over Loughgall by the odd goal in five at the Showgrounds.
Teenager Ciaran O'Hara marked his league debut with the opening goal for the Bannsiders after 14 minutes when he got past his marker to meet a Jamie Glackin inswinging corner with a header from close range.
The Villagers levelled just nine minutes later, however, when Tiernan Kelly won possession around 25 yards and duly sent an unstoppable effort beyonf the reach of keeper Gareth Deane.
However Coleraine restored the advantage through Lee Lynch five minutes from the break when Lyndon Kane released him on the counter attack to sweep the ball home from inside the area.
Then, just after the hour, Conor McKendry extended Coleraine's lead with a driven finish into the roof of the net after Dean Jarvis had sent the ball across the face of goal.
Oran Kearney's side were reduced to ten men in the latter stages of the game when David McDaid was sent-off for a challenge on Nathaniel Ferris.
This prompted the visitors to throw everything at their hosts in an attempt to salvage something from the game but the sum of their efforts could only produce a 97th minute Benji Magee strike which turned out to be too little too late.
