BENJI HITS HAT-TRICK AS VILLAGERS CLAIM THE POINTS
Benji Magee hit a second half hat-trick as Loughgall collected all three points from Newry City's visit to Lakeview Park.
Scoreless at the break, Newry started the brighter with Georgie Poynton seeing a free-kick deflected behind while Adam Salley was unfortunate to send a header wide of the right post.
Salley had another chance soon after, saved by Berraat Turker, before the home keeper was called into action again to deal with an Adam Carroll bicycle kick from the edge of the area.
But the deadlock was broken early in the second half when Magee sent a superb strike from the right past keeper Steven Maguire.
Newry levelled just four minutes later, however, with Salley's strike into the bottom left corner after he had collected a Carroll delivery from the left.
Magee then restored home advantage on 65 minutes when he combined with Jay Boyd to burst through the defence and fire beyond Maguire into the top left.
And he completed the scoring deep into added time with a bundled finish at the near post to secure the points for Loughgall.
