LARNE FRUSTRATED AT STANGMORE
Larne suffered a frustrating night after being held to a scoreless draw away to Dungannon Swifts.
A first half of few chances, the visitors perhaps came closest when Lee Bonis fired over from six yards after receiving the ball from Paul O'Neill.
O'Neill then sent an effort just wide in the opening minute of the second half, with Levi Ives then sending a free-kick the wrong side of the target from outside the area.
Dungannon were then reduced to ten men just after the hour following Ethan McGee's dismissal for a challenge on Ives, his second caution of the game.
Larne tried to make their numerical advantage count, and almost managed it when Bonis struck the woodwork after a goalmouth scramble in stoppage time.
But they did finally find the net with almost the last kick of the game but this was ruled out following a foul on Swifts keeper Conor Mitchell.
