ALL SQUARE AT SOLITUDE
Cliftonville and Loughgall shared the spoils after an at times end-to-end encounter at Solitude.
The Reds moved in front as early as the second minute through Jonny Addis who rose highest to head home Ronan Doherty's quickly taken free-kick from close range.
Jim Magilton's side had chances to double their lead when Joe Gormley fired into the side netting, and then Ben Wilson sent an effort off target from distance.
Loughgall levelled, however, just after the half-hour mark courtesy of Jay Boyd who was found lurking at the back post to touch home Jamie Rea's cross from the left.
Cliftonville might have regained the advantage before the break, but again Gormley and Wilson couldn't make their chances count.
And they came even closer midway through the second half after Rory Hale was presented with sufficient time and space to send a left-foot curling effort goalbound from 25 yards only for the ball to rattle the crossbar.
Then, in the closing minutes, Gormley could have grabbed what would have been the winner after bursting into the area only to be denied by Berratt Turker.
