REDS CLAIM NORTH BELFAST BRAGGING RIGHTS
Cliftonville hit three goals without reply past Crusaders in the first north Belfast derby of the season at Seaview.
The Reds moved in front on 18 minutes when Chris Gallagher fired beyond Jonny Tuffey into the top left-hand corner after connecting with a Ronan Doherty corner.
The visitors might have doubled their advantage midway through the first half when Ben Wilson ran onto the ball before finding the net but this was ruled out offside.
The Crues threatened through Daniel Larmour but he was denied by keeper David Odumosu's full length save, while Paul Heatley sent an effort just wide.
Cliftonville did extend their lead late in the first half, however, when Gallagher turned provider to tee up Rory Hale to slot home into the bottom corner from the edge of the area.
Then, ten minutes after the break, Wilson added a third with a clinical finish from Hale's cross from the right.
