GLENS AND SWIFTS DRAW A BLANK
Glentoran moved a point clear at the top of the table following a scoreless draw with Dungannon Swifts at the BetMcLean Oval.
A quiet first half produced few efforts of note, although the Glens did come within a whisker of finding a way through when Jay Donnelly connected with a Niall McGinn cross only to glance the ball against an upright.
The Glens hit the woodwork again early in the second half when, from another McGinn delivery, Shay McCartan sent his effort off the underside of the bar.
Then, not long after that, Donnelly found the bottom corner from a Daire O'Connor cross but this was ruled out offside.
The Swifts had chances of their own, with Kealan Dillon perhaps coming close with a fierce strike which Aaron McCarey did well to parry to safety.
