BANNSIDERS REDISCOVER WINNING TOUCH
Coleraine returned to winning ways after five games with a home victory over visitors Newry City.
After creating a number of chances the Bannsiders eventually found a way through on 40 minutes after Josh Carson got on the end of a quickly taken free-kick to send a low left-foot drive home from just inside the area.
Oran Kearney's side doubled their advantage just before the hour. Jamie Glackin did well to create space to then send the ball in from the edge of the area for Matthew Shevlin to nod home from close range.
Newry hit back, however, on 77 minutes when Lee Newell took hold of the ball from around 25 yards out to then send a low effort from distance beyond keeper Marty Gallagher.
But Coleraine made sure of the points right at the end of normal time when substitute Andy Mitchell was played through by Shevlin to slide the ball underneath Tom Murphy.
