FERRIS DOUBLE EARNS VILLAGERS THE POINTS
Two Nathaniel Ferris goals just before the hour helped Loughgall come from behind to defeat Ballymena United at The Showgrounds.
Scoreless for most of the first half, the Sky Blues moved in front on 37 minutes when Colin Coates powered home a header after connecting with a Steven McCullough free-kick.
But the Villagers levelled nine minutes after the break with Ferris' first of the afternoon with a finish in off the underside of the bar after the home defence hesitated to deal with a Pablo Andrade cross.
Then, four minutes after that, another Andrade delivery again caused problems in defence with Ferris then doubling his tally from close range.
And it got worse for the home side midway through the second half when Alberto Balde got past the defence before cutting the ball back for Andrew Hoey to smash his finish high into the net.
