VILLAGERS BAG LATE SEAVIEW LEVELLER
Crusaders and Loughgall battled to a share of the spoils in an entertaining draw at Seaview.
Both sides had early opportunities to move in front, with the visitors coming closest midway through the first half when Caolan Loughran was denied only by the crossbar with a well struck 30-yard free-kick.
The Crues responded when Paul Heatley was first denied by Berraat Turker only to then send his follow up high and wide.
That pattern continued into the second half as Alberto Balde sent an effort over the top while Heatley was again thwarted by the visiting keeper.
Heatley then failed to register on two further occasions before, on 74 minutes, he finally found a way through from inside the area after going past a defender to eventually beat Turker.
Loughgall were dealt a further blow moments later when Aaron Duke, only on the pitch a few minutes, was sent off after the goal for dissent.
However they responded positively to that double setback to grab an equaliser with five minutes left on the clock through Benji Magee who broke down the right before lobbing the ball over keeper Jonny Tuffey!
