McCLOSKEY AT THE DOUBLE AS GLENAVON STORM BACK
Glenavon fought back from two goals down after half-an-hour to grab their first point of the season away to Loughgall.
The Villagers moved in front with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock after Tiernan Kelly found the bottom left with a first time effort from inside the box following Pablo Andrade's right-sided free-kick.
Then, on 31 minutes, Andrew Hoey doubled the home advantage at the back post after connecting with another ball sent over from the right flank.
Glenavon hit back just before the hour, however, courtesy of a superb Conor McCloskey free-kick from the left that looped over Berraat Turker who could only look on helplessly.
And McCloskey struck again just five minutes after that with his second of the evening to bring the visitors back into the game. He pounced after a Peter Campbell effort wasn't properly cleared before tucking the ball home at the back post.
There was almost a further twist with just under 19 minutes remaining as the Villagers almost regained the advantage when Benji Magee's curling effort from the left clipped the top of the crossbar before falling behind.
