MID ULSTER DERBY ENDS SCORELESS
Glenavon and Portadown brought the curtain down on the league campaign with a scoreless draw at Mourneview Park.
The Lurgan Blues now have the European play-offs to prepare for while the Ports face life back in the Championship.
A quiet first half, Glenavon perhaps came closest through Peter Campbell who saw a thunderous effort denied by keeper Ondrej Mastny.
Portadown's best effort came early in the second half but Stephen Teggart's drive from Alan O'Sullivan's lay off that looked destined for the top corner eventually drifted just wide.
At the other end Aaron Prendergast nodded just off target before Mastny had to be alert to deal with a Michael O'Connor free-kick.
