PORTS RELEGATED AFTER FIVE-GOAL STANGMORE THRILLER
Portadown's relegation to the Championship was confirmed following defeat away to Dungannon Swifts.
The Swifts moved in front after 20 minutes when, from a James Knowles free-kick, Ethan McGee met the ball to nod past keeper Jethren Barr.
Portadown levelled on 57 minutes through Paul McElroy who finished from close range after connecting with a long ball from Lee Chapman.
Dungannon regained the advantage just six minutes later, however, when Jordan Jenkins outpaced everyone to fire into the bottom right corner.
But back came the Ports on 68 minutes after the ball fell to McElroy in the box, with his subsequent effort striking the crossbar only to deflect into the net in off keeper Declan Dunne.
However, the winner came with just over ten minutes remaining courtesy of a Michael O'Connor tap in after Corey Smith had sent the ball over from the left.
