ON FORM GLENAVON WIN AGAIN
Glenavon are now nine games unbeaten following a 3-1 victory over Carrick Rangers at the Loughview Leisure Arena.
Gary Hamilton's side almost moved in front around the 20 minute mark when Andrew Doyle rose to meet a corner only to head against the crossbar.
But Doyle wasn't to be denied on 32 minutes when his right foot effort from outside the area was delivered low and hard into the bottom left corner.
Glenavon doubled their lead five minutes after the break through Matthew Fitzpatrick after he pounced on the follow up from Conor McCloskey's dipping strike from range.
Rangers pulled one back through Nedas Maciulaitis just after the hour, however, when his cross from the right went over keeper Rory Brown and into the far top corner of the net.
Sixteen-year-old Cohen Henderson restored Glenavon's advantage deep into stoppage time with a superb finish from the halfway line after spotting Ross Glendinning off his line.
