FORSYTHE AT THE DOUBLE AS CRUES FIGHT BACK
Jordan Forsythe hit two goals as Crusaders fought back from a goal down to defeat Coleraine at Seaview.
The Bannsiders thought they had broken the deadlock early in the game when Matthew Shevlin found the net from Andy Scott's lay-off only for the 'goal' to be ruled out offside.
But Coleraine did move in front on 38 minutes. Scott was brought down in the area by Forsythe and from the resultant spot-kick Michael McCrudden stepped up to fire past Jonny Tuffey.
Crusaders levelled with Forsythe's first of the evening early in the second half, making no mistake with the second penalty of the game awarded after Jack O'Mahony was adjudged to have handled in the box.
Then, five minutes after the hour, Philip Lowry edged the Crues into the lead with a close range header into the far corner from Ross Clarke's left-sided corner.
And Forsythe made sure with just less than a quarter-of-an-hour remaining with a back post finish from another Clarke delivery.
