COLERAINE AND LARNE DRAW A BLANK
Coleraine and Larne played out a scoreless draw at the Showgrounds as the visitors took another step towards a potential first league title.
Aaron Jarvis created perhaps the first effort of note with just over 15 minutes on the clock when his drive from the edge of the area was well saved by Larne keeper Rohan Ferguson.
At the other end Andy Ryan had a go from around 25 yards but Gareth Deane was equal to the threat with a dive to his left.
Coleraine within inches of seizing the advantage just before the break courtesy of a Conor McKendry free-kick on the edge of the area that curled just the wrong side of the post.
Larne came close after the interval through Joe Thomson's first time volley only to be denied by a fingertip save from Deane.
The Bannsiders were reduced to ten men on 64 minutes when Aaron Jarvis was shown a straight red card for an off the ball incident.
The visitors tried to make their numerical advantage count as time ticked down, coming close when Lee Bonis headed the wrong side of an upright while Deane produced a tremendous reflex save in the closing moments to deny Thomas Maguire.
