BLUES HIT FIVE PAST SWIFTS
Linfield swept to a five goal defeat of Dungannon Swifts under the Friday night lights at Stangmore Park.
The Blues moved in front after 17 minutes through Chris McKee who fired left-footed past Declan Dunne after the ball fell for him inside the area.
Ethan Devine made it 2-0 just after the half-hour mark when he was played through by Kirk Millar to confidently turn the ball into the net.
The visitors then hit three goals early in the second half to put the game to bed.
Joel Cooper added a third a couple of minutes after the break with a low strike from the right side of the box beyond Dunne at the far post.
Then, sixty seconds later, Devine doubled his tally for the evening with a sweeping finish after the ball broke from a blocked Cooper effort.
And three minutes after that Millar completed the scoring with a superb curling effort into the top corner from around 20 yards from goal.
