BANNSIDERS LIMBER UP WITH DERBY WIN
Coleraine limbered up for the upcoming BetMcLean Cup final with a comfortable derby defeat of Ballymena United.
The Bannsiders moved in front after half-an-hour through Jamie Glackin after he finished superbly with his left-foot from just inside the box after cutting in from the right.
United levelled a few minutes later, however, when skipper Josh Kelly dispatched a half volley past Gareth Deane from outside the area.
But Coleraine regained the advantage four minutes from half-time when Glackin turned provider for Conor McKendry to run onto the ball and send a deft finish over Jordan Williamson into the far corner.
Josh Carson then completed the scoring nine minutes into the second half from close range after Dean Jarvis had sent over a low cross from the left.
