MOORE DOUBLE HANDS REDS BIG WIN
Sean Moore bagged a first half double as Cliftonville recorded a huge victory over Glentoran at Solitude.
The 17-year-old opened the scoring after just 11 minutes when he was allowed the time and space on the edge of the area to fire past Aaron McCarey.
Glentoran might have levelled a short time later after Conor McMenamin set Niall McGinn free to go one-on-one with Nathan Gartside but the Reds keeper was able to turn the danger away with his foot.
Shay McCartan also came close to equalising but could only fire wide from just a few yards out.
However Cliftonville doubled their advantage just after the half-hour mark with Moore's second of the afternoon after the ball fell for him again after an initial run to beat McCarey with a low finish.
The visitors threatened again, however, when Junior Ogedi-Uzokwe turned an effort against the outside of an upright.
Glentoran did pull one back five minutes after the break, though, after McGinn crossed for Ogedi-Uzokwe but after his effort was blocked the ball dropped for Terry Devlin to fire into the roof of the net from close range.
But the Glens couldn't craft an equaliser during the remainder of the second half and, indeed, might have fell two goals behind again as Moore was set free only to fire straight at McCarey.
