LAST GASP LOWRY SAVES CRUES
Philip Lowry grabbed a last gasp equaliser as Crusaders earned a point from their trip to face Glenavon at Mourneview Park.
The 33-year-old popped up in the second minute of added time with a strike from the edge of the box just as Glenavon thought they had done enough to claim all three points.
Scoreless at the break, Matthew Fitzpatrick fired the Lurgan Blues in front on 55 minutes after Calum Birney made the most of a Josh Robinson mistake to flick the ball into his path.
The Crues almost hit back courtesy of a couple of Jude Winchester efforts, but they did equalise on 69 minutes when Paul Heatley found the net with a finish into the bottom corner.
However Glenavon regained the advantage just five minutes after that when Jamie Doran turned a strong finish past Jonny Tuffey.
Crusaders might have levelled after Dean Ebbe sent a powerful header off the crossbar, but they did grab their second right at the end thanks to Lowry's late, late strike.
