CRUES TOO STRONG FOR SWIFTS
Crusaders swept to a three-goal victory over Dungannon Swifts at Seaview.
The Crues moved in front after 20 minutes. Swifts defender Dean Curry was adjudged to have handled inside the area with Jordan Forsythe stepping up to send keeper Declan Dunne the wrong way from the spot.
Forsythe might have levelled for the Swifts a few minutes from the break but was fortunate when his attempted clearance from a corner came back off his own crossbar.
Crusaders doubled their advantage on 56 minutes through Paul Heatley after he displayed some nifty footwork inside the box before sending the ball beyond Dunne into the bottom left corner.
Then, a couple of minutes after that, Adam Lecky added a third when he controlled the ball in the box and sending it through Dunne's legs.
Dungannon ended the game with ten men following Ethan McGee's 78th minute dismissal after collecting his second caution for unsporting behaviour.
