NEWRY AND LARNE DRAW A BLANK
Larne moved back into second spot in the Danske Bank Premiership following a scoreless draw away to Newry City.
The visitors created the first chances of the game through Andy Ryan and Leroy Millar but neither effort really troubled City keeper Steven Maguire.
Maguire was called into action again to deny Joe Thomson, before rushing off his line to thwart Lee Bonis as Larne pressed to find a way through.
Micheal Glynn might have broken the deadlock early in the second half only to head wide, and then he played Thomson through but his driven effort fell the wrong side of the post.
Larne created further openings through Bonis and Glynn followed by Aaron Donnelly's set piece that had Maguire scrambling to keep out.
Newry had a chance through Donal Scullion from distance but it was Larne that looked the more likely to register after late efforts, albeit fruitless, from Millar and Paul O'Neill.
