CRUES HIT TWO PAST BLUES
Goals from Jordan Forsythe and Philip Lowry helped Crusaders defeat Linfield at Seaview to draw level with the Blues on points.
Forsythe opened the scoring after just six minutes when he connected with Ross Clarke's corner from the right to send a header in off the underside of the bar.
Linfield might have levelled soon after through Eetu Vertainen but, after getting past a couple of challenges, could only send his 20-yard drive narrowly past the right hand post.
At the other end Adam Lecky could have doubled the home advantage with a ferocious strike which Chris Johns did well to save at the near post.
After the break Chris McKee send a right-foot effort against an upright while Jude Winchester had a go from around 30 yards as the sides traded chances.
Crusaders doubled their advantage just before the hour, however, when Philip Lowry beat Johns with a superb effort to mark his 250th appearance for the club.
