SCORELESS AT INVER PARK
Title challengers Larne and Crusaders drew a blank in a closely fought encounter at Inver Park.
Larne almost moved in front inside the opening 30 seconds after Shaun Want won the ball and sent over a cross for Paul O'Neill but he couldn't get a clean enough connection to trouble the goal.
Jordan Forsythe had Crusaders' first effort of note around the quarter-of-an-hour mark but he failed to trouble keeper Rohan Ferguson with a header from eight yards.
But Larne looked the more likely to find a way through as the game progressed, with Joe Thomson sending the ball just inches wide before, on the stroke of half time, Cian Bolger saw a header cleared off the line.
Chances were at a premium after the break, however, with the home side perhaps coming closest when Mark Randall attempted to send a backheel past Jonny Tuffey while, for the Crues, Paul Heatley snatched an effort just wide of the target.
