EAST ANTRIM DERBY ENDS SCORELESS
Larne and Carrick Rangers failed to produce any goals as the east Antrim derby finished scoreless at Inver Park.
A quiet start to proceedings, it took around half-an-hour for the first effort of note when Lee Bonis cut inside to send an effort glancing against the side netting.
Then, not long after that, Reece Glendinning might have fired Rangers in front with an effort from a corner which clipped the top of the crossbar.
Kyle Cherry then tested Rohan Ferguson from distance while Leroy Millar had a go with a header but both failed to find the net.
The second was as equally a quiet affair, although Larne came closest to finding a way through when Aaron Donnelly's drive from outside the area came back off an upright.
