EARLY GOALS SET BANNSIDERS UP FOR THE WIN
Two early goals helped Coleraine defeat Dungannon Swifts at The Showgrounds.
Matthew Shevlin opened the scoring for the Bannsiders after just three minutes when he was on hand to slam home the rebound after Dean Jarvis' initial long range effort was parried by keeper Declan Dunne.
Then, just eight minutes after that, Conor McDermott made it 2-0 with a superb effort which saw him cut in from the right before switching the ball onto his left foot to curl the ball beyond Dunne into the top corner.
Coleraine might have had a third soon after through Lee Lynch but his effort was ruled out offside.
And they were denied again with just over ten minutes remaining when Michael McCrudden's close range finish was also disallowed.
