FOUR GOALS AT MOURNEVIEW
Glenavon and Carrick Rangers shared the goals in what was an entertaining draw at Mourneview Park.
The home side moved in front after ten minutes through Matthew Fitzpatrick who did well to control a long ball before taking the ball around keeper Ross Glendinning and into the empty net.
Carrick levelled eight minutes after that, however, courtesy of Andy Mitchell who knocked home an unstoppable volley into the top corner from all of 30 yards.
But Glenavon responded by regaining the advantage midway through the first half after Eoin Bradley got on the end of a deep Conor McCloskey cross to fire home from the edge of the box.
That was how it stayed until the hour mark when Glenavon were reduced to ten men when Robbie Garrett was dismissed for bringing Lloyd Anderson down when through on goal from just outside the area.
And it only took Carrick four minutes to make their numerical advantage count - and in spectacular fashion too - when Curtis Allen grabbed the equaliser with an overhead kick after reaching Alex Gawne's cross to the far post.
