BANNSIDERS BLAST PAST SWIFTS
Coleraine blasted five goals without reply past Dungannon Swifts at Stangmore Park to move back to the top of the table overnight.
The Bannsiders moved in front after ten minutes when Caolan Marron, on his Dungannon debut, turned the ball into his own net after attempting to clear a Jamie Glackin cross from the right.
That was how it stayed until three goals in quick succession towards the break put the visitors very much in command.
Kieran Farren made it 2-0 on 37 minutes with a back post finish from a low left-sided cross.
Matthew Shevlin added a third on 43 minutes from close range after Lee Lynch had sent the ball across, and Glackin knocked home number four moments after that when he rounded off a fine passing move.
The scoring was complete five minutes from time courtesy of Michael McCrudden's drive into the far corner after receiving a lay-off from Jack O'Mahony.
