PORTS STORM BACK TO CLAIM FIRST WIN
Portadown staged a second half comeback to come from two goals down to get the better of Warrenpoint Town at Milltown.
The game got off to a frenetic start with both sides having opportunities in front of goal. Oisin Conaty fired over for the Ports while Luke Gallagher directed a header wide at the other end.
A scrappy period followed before, on 27 minutes, Greg Moorhouse opened the scoring for 'Point when he latched onto a long ball forward to get past his marker and fire into the bottom corner.
Warrenpoint doubled their advantage early in the second half when Kealan Dillon converted from the spot after Michael Ruddy had brought down Thomas Maguire.
The Ports kicked off their comeback on 68 minutes through Lee Bonis after he connected with Adam Salley's cross before, four minutes after that, Stephen Teggart levelled with a half-volley on the edge of the box.
Then, with four minutes remaining, Matthew Tipton's clocked up their first win of the campaign when Sammie McLeod headed home at the back post from close range.
