THREE WINS FROM THREE FOR LARNE
Larne maintained their 100% start to the campaign with a comfortable three-goal defeat of Warrenpoint Town at Inver Park.
Tiernan Lynch's side created a number of chances during the opening part of the game, coming closest when Dean Jarvis powered a header off an upright from Mark Randall's corner from the left.
However, they did find a way through just after the half-hour mark when Andrew Mitchell's long range effort wrong footed 'Point keeper Conor Mitchell possibly via a slight deflection.
Jarvis came close again for Larne after the break, just sending a volley narrowly wide from the edge of the box, before Lee Lynch made it 2-0 on the hour with a diving header from Tomas Cosgrove's delivery into the area.
Lynch might have doubled his tally soon after only to turn a Ronan Hale flick onto the post.
But Larne did find a third goal with just five minutes remaining when John Herron slammed the ball home from close range.
