GLENAVON HIT 'POINT FOR SIX
Glenavon came from a goal down to hit Warrenpoint Town for six at Milltown.
'Point moved in front on 11 minutes through skipper Fra McCaffrey who made the most of a poor back header from James Singleton to knock the ball past Declan Brown.
But it proved to be a short lived advantage. Glenavon levelled almost straightaway courtesy of Peter Campbell's left-foot neat finish into the far corner before Matthew Fitzpatrick struck twice in four minutes to put Gary Hamilton's side into a commanding lead.
He edged the visitors in front with a back post finish from Sean Ward's throw-in which had been flicked on, before turning in an Andy Hall cross from the right.
And Glenavon extended their lead further still just before the break thanks to Andy Waterworth's close range finish after Andy Hall had nodded on a Campbell left-sided cross.
Waterworth then doubled his tally for Glenavon's fifth around the hour mark, taking a touch to control a Singleton pass, before directing the ball past Conor Mitchell.
Substitute Daniel Purkis completed the scoring with three minutes remaining, slotting home from close range after Josh Doyle had teed him up.
