GOALS GALORE AT STANGMORE
Dungannon Swifts and Warrenpoint Town battled to an equal share of an eight-goal thriller at Stangmore Park.
The sides traded chances during the opening half-an-hour before two goals in as many minutes set the tone for the rest of the afternoon.
On 33 minutes the Swifts moved in front in somewhat fortunate circumstances when 'Point keeper Gabriel Sava's attempted clearance went in off defender Colm Deasy.
But Deasy more than made up for that in spectacular fashion moments later with a magnificently executed past Sam Johnston to equalise for the visitors.
Dungannon regained the lead early in the second half when Michael Carvill converted from the spot after Ryan Waide had been brought down by Danny Wallace.
However, two quick goals around the hour put 'Point in the driving seat for the first time.
On 57 minutes Alan O'Sullivan levelled when he pounced after Johnston had kept out efforts from Kealan Dillon and Brandon Doyle. Then, three minutes after that, Mark McKee swept the ball home from the left side of the area.
The action continued with Dermot McVeigh and Shane McGinty coming close at either end before another couple of back-to-back goals upped excitement levels even more.
Doyle extended Warrenpoint's lead in the 71st minute when he was afforded the time and space to pick his spot but, four minutes after that, Ryan Waide turned the ball home at the far post from Ross Redman's cross.
Kris Lindsay's side then levelled deep into stoppage time after a frantic goalmouth scramble ended with Rhyss Campbell stabbing the ball over the line from close range.
