LARNE HIT GLENS WITH STOPPAGE TIME WINNER
Johnny McMurray bagged a stoppage time winner as Larne defeated Glentoran in the evening kick-off at Inver Park.
Both sides had chances during the early stages with Navid Nasseri seeing an effort blocked by Harry Flowers while McMurray fired into the side netting at the other end.
Glentoran did have the ball in the net with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock but Paddy McLean's back post header was ruled out for offside.
Mark Randall then had an opportunity to give Larne the lead with a header from point blank range from a McMurray flick but keeper Marijan Antolovic did well to make the save.
Larne continued to press with Tomas Cosgrove finding Dean Jarvis at the far post only for the ball to end up going wide while a similar fate befell a McMurray header soon after - and another Randall effort, this time from distance, sailed just over before the break.
Glentoran's Hrvoje Plum went close early in the second half with a trademark free-kick but this deflected off the wall before falling narrowly wide.
But the visitors did take the lead on 52 minutes through Paul O'Neill who directed the ball past Conor Devlin after going for a header with Larne skipper Albert Watson.
However, Larne got back on level terms four minutes later when McMurray teed Lee Lynch up with a clever pass to beat Antolovic with a well placed finish.
Both camps pushed for victory as the game progressed albeit without success until, in the second minute of added time, McMurray popped up with what proved to be the winner although it's debatable just how much he knew about it after the ball rebounded off his face after Antolovic had punched clear a Cosgrove cross.
There was almost some more last gasp drama after that when Glentoran Elvio van Overbeek came within inches of the equaliser only to head over the bar from close range.
