MATCH BALL FOR GLACKIN AT MILLTOWN
Jamie Glackin bagged a hat-trick as Coleraine cruised to a four-goal victory over bottom of the table Warrenpoint Town at Milltown.
The Bannsiders created all the running from the start with Gareth McConaghie and Eoin Bradley having chances early on while Ben Doherty crashed a free-kick against the woodwork later in the half.
But it took until the 37th minute for Glackin to open the scoring when he lifted the ball over keeper Mark Byrne after meeting Josh Carson's pass.
That was how it stayed until midway through the second half when Glackin struck again with a 25-yard volley beyond the home keeper.
And number three arrived soon after he latched onto another through ball to finish into the far corner.
Not content with that, Coleraine proceeded to add a fourth a couple of minutes later thanks to recent arrival Matthew Fitzpatrick who knocked home his first goal for the club with a lob over Byrne.
Warrenpoint ended the game with ten men when, with four minutes to go, Colm Deasy was dismissed for a challenge on Aaron Traynor, his second booking of the game.
