DOHERTY DOUBLES UP AS BANNSIDERS WIN AGAIN
Coleraine hit three goals without reply past Warrenpoint Town at The Showgrounds to cut the gap at the top of the table to three points.
Ben Doherty opened the scoring on 23 minutes from the spot, awarded after Nedas Maciulaitis went down just inside the area under contact from Danny Wallace.
Eoin Bradley doubled Coleraine's lead eight minutes from the break, curling a free-kick from around 23 yards low around the wall and beyond Berraat Turker in off the far post.
Doherty completed the scoring in the closing moments of the game. Turker conceded the second penalty of the afternoon after taking down Lyndon Kane and despite saving Doherty's initial spot-kick the Warrenpoint keeper couldn't deny the Coleraine man from knocking home the rebound.
