GLENAVON BOUNCE BACK AT MOURNEVIEW
Glenavon fought back from a goal down to record a comfortable win over Ballymena United at Mourneview Park.
The Sky Blues moved in front after 11 minutes through Cathair Friel who fired into the roof of the net from the edge of the six yard box after Leroy Millar ran onto a Ryan Mayse ball to deliver a cross from the right.
Glenavon levelled just before the half-hour mark when Rhys Marshall with a stinging effort from inside the area high into the net from Jack O'Mahonys lay-off after Josh Daniels sent over a short cross from the left.
That was how it stayed until the 57th minute when United defender Steven McCullough touched the ball into his own net whilst attempting to clear Aaron Harmon's delivery from the right flank.
And Glenavon made sure of the points right at the end thanks to Jordan Jenkins finishing from close range after James Singleton and Stephen Murray had created the opening.
