DERGVIEW UP INTO THIRD SPOT
Dergview moved into third spot in the table with a 3-1 defeat of Queen's University at Darragh Park.
The home side hit two goals late in the first half to go in at the break on top.
Sam Sproule opened the scoring after he ran onto a through ball to take it past the keeper and a defender before slotting home.
Ethan Nethery then doubled up a couple of minutes after that with a near post header from point blank range after Sproule had nodded the ball on from the edge of the box.
Paul Smith then added a third early in the second half after knocking the ball home from just inside the area after Niall Fielding had laid off a Sproule pass.
Ronan Young pulled one back for the Students but it proved to be little more than a consolation.
