CORBETT CLAIMS MATCH BALL AS RANGERS HIT FIVE
Jake Corbett bagged a hat-trick as Rathfriland Rangers swept to victory over Knockbreda at Iveagh Park.
Despite the outcome, it was the visitors who grabbed the early advantage when Curtis Kenny knocked the ball past keeper Jake Gracey after just five minutes but it was a short lived lead after Corbett hit his first of the afternoon a few minutes after that.
Jack Chambers then edged Rangers in front from the spot with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock, with Matthew Holloway adding a third on 30 minutes.
Corbett scored his second of the afternoon moments after the interval, and claimed the match ball with another on 77 minutes.
'Breda did pull a couple back late in the game, however, through Bobby Higgins and Fra Nolan.
