TEN MAN 'POINT POWER TO THE WIN
Third placed Warrenpoint Town defeated Tobermore United 3-1 on the road, and they did so after playing most of the game with ten men following Christopher Crane’s early dismissal for a foul on the edge of the area.
Michael Leddy edged ‘Point in front just before the break with a finish into the far corner from Diarmuid O’Hanlon’s lay-off, with O’Hanlon getting on the scoresheet himself early in the second half with a dink over the keeper.
Daniel McIlhatton pulled one back for Tobermore on 73 minutes, but Rory Powell restored Warrenpoint’s two-goal cushion just a couple of minutes after that.
