NO GOALS AT BALLYSKEAGH
Lisburn Distillery played the last half-an-hour with ten men to earn a point from the visit of Queen's University to Ballyskeagh.
An evenly contested first half saw the Whites coming closest to breaking the deadlock right at the end after Dean Lewis beat the offside trap to tee up Gary Warwick but his effort was well kept out by keeper Neil Shields.
The game took a twist just before the hour when Fra Brennan picked up his second caution of the afternoon following a foul in the middle of the pitch.
But the Students couldn't make their extra man count and, indeed, it was the home side that came closest to finding a way through when Warwick combined with Mark McKee only for his shot to be blocked followed soon after by Aaron Cochrane finding himself through on goal but, again, Shields did well to deal with the threat.
