ROESIDERS SWEEP TO TITLE CLINCHING VICTORY
Limavady United secured the Playr-Fit Premier Intermediate League title with victory over Lisburn Distillery at Ballyskeagh.
Needing just a point to make sure, the Roesiders moved in front on 22 minutes when Joe McCready beat the offside trap to direct the ball into the bottom corner.
Then, in first half stoppage time, Michael McCrudden doubled up when he connected with Ryan Doherty's free-kick to send the ball home in off the crossbar.
And that was how it stayed until six minutes from time when substitute Alex Pomeroy completed the scoring for the visitors.
