SEAHAWKS GET TO THE 'POINT
Portstewart hit two goals without reply past Warrenpoint Town at Mullaghacall.
The Seahawks needed just two minutes to open the scoring after Lewis Nevin did well to win possession, take it around keeper Lewis Deane and slot right-footed into the net.
Portstewart doubled their advantage right at the end of the first half when Pierce Quigley made the most of a mistake at the back to slot home.
'Point did come close to pulling one back with around a quarter-of-an-hour remaining when Aaron Corish sent a powerful volley against the upright but, in the end, there was no recovery for Gary Boyle's side.
