ROESIDERS HOLD ON TO CLAIM THE WIN
Limavady United maintained their position at the top of the Playr-Fit Premier Intermediate League with victory over Moyola Park at The Showgrounds.
The Roesiders moved in front after 12 minutes through Graham Crown, and doubled their advantage ten minutes later when Alex Pomeroy converted from the spot.
Pomeroy struck again eight minutes into the second half to seemingly kill the game off but the visitors hit back with what appeared to be a consolation through Lee McLaughlin just after the hour.
Kenny Shiels' side then struck again courtesy of Alex Doherty nine minutes from time to set up a tense finish, but Limavady held on to claim the points.
