EAGLES TOO STRONG FOR PSNI
Armagh City kept up their promotion push with a 3-1 defeat of PSNI at The Dub.
All the goals came in the first half with the Eagles racing into a two-goal lead with just six minutes on the clock.
They moved in front when first the ball came off home defender Aaron Cochrane following a goalmouth scramble before, moments after that, Scott McCann doubled up with a curling free-kick from just outside the area.
The PSNI pulled one back on 21 minutes when Cochrane knocked the ball home from the spot, but Conor Mullen restored Armagh's two-goal advantage with the second penalty of the game just after the half-hour mark to ultimately secure the points.
