STUDENTS AND EAGLES SHARE THE SPOILS
Second met third at The Dub, but neither Queen’s University nor Armagh City could gain the upper hand as the sides fought out a 2-2 draw.
Matthew Hughes edged the Students in front with less than ten minutes on the clock but Conor Mullen levelled around a quarter-of-an-hour later before Igor Rutkowski nudged the Eagles in front early in the second half.
However Johnny Mairs found the net following a scramble in the box to secure a share of the spoils for Queen’s in the closing moments.
