BANBRIDGE SCUPPER EAGLES CHANCES
Armagh City missed out on the chance to move into second spot in the Playr-Fit Premier Intermediate League after going down 3-0 at home to Banbridge Town.
Reece Doyle opened the scoring for the visitors on 17 minutes after connecting with Stephen McCavitt's flick to take the ball around keeper Conner Byrne and slotting into the unguarded net.
Banbridge doubled their advantage a few minutes from the break when McCavitt headed home from Conor Curran's corner.
Then, nine minutes into the second half, Andrew Martin knocked home a third for Banbridge to effectively kill the game off.
