Ruari Fitzpatrick fired Rangers in front as early as the third minute with a great strike, but Gerard Storey levelled for the visitors around a quarter-of-an-hour later with a low shot past Ronan Burns.
Dalton Tate restored home advantage on 28 minutes with a header from a throw-in before, ten minutes from the break, Matthew Holloway made it 3-1 after being given space to fire past Ethan Carry.
However the Whites reduced the deficit barely sixty seconds later with a 25-yard strike beyond Burns.
Distillery then levelled six minutes into the second half thanks to Ryan McNickle's header from Breandan O'Neill's cross.
And what proved to be the winner arrived just short of the hour mark when Jack Berry made the most of poor defending to squeeze the ball over the line.
