EAGLES TOO STRONG FOR SEAHAWKS
Armagh City defeated Portstewart by the odd goal in three at Holm Park.
Although scoreless at the break, Armagh might have gone in front towards the end of the first half when Igor Rutkowski was denied by the hand of keeper Glenn McMullan before, moments later, Marc McConnell fired over in front of goal.
The Eagles did grab the advantage midway through the second half, however, when Dermot McCaffrey blasted home a volley after Scott McCann had floated a free-kick into the area.
Portstewart might have levelled just over ten minutes later only for Glenn Law's goalbound effort from distance to be tipped onto the woodwork by Conner Byrne.
Armagh doubled their advantage with three minutes to go courtesy of Rutkowski's finish, with the visitors grabbing a stoppage time consolation through Conall Doherty on his debut.
