DISTILLERY LEAVE IT LATE TO CLAIM SHARE OF POINTS
Lisburn Distillery came away from Portstewart with a share of the points after a late equaliser in the Premier Intermediate League.
In a game of few clearcut chances, both teams failed to break the deadlock in a scoreless first half in the North Coast.
It wasn't until the 70th minute that the scoring was eventually opened at Mullaghacall when Portstewart's Michael Smith showed all his experience to latch onto a superb through ball, and round the goalkeeper before slotting the ball through the legs of the last defender.
Distillery found an equaliser with six minutes remaining, after a mix up in the home defence the ball fell to Jamie Devenny who had the simple task of tapping home from close range.
